You should put dishwasher powder in the detergent dispenser located inside your dishwasher. Here's how to do it:

- Open the dishwasher door.
- Locate the detergent dispenser, which is usually a small compartment or tray near the dishwasher door.
- Depending on your dishwasher model, the dispenser may have different configurations. It could be a flip-top lid, a sliding cover, or a pull-out tray.
- Measure the appropriate amount of dishwasher powder according to the manufacturer's instructions. Use the recommended amount for the selected wash cycle and the level of soiling on your dishes.
- Pour the dishwasher powder into the detergent dispenser. Be careful not to spill any powder outside of the dispenser to avoid residue buildup or potential damage to the dishwasher.
- Close the detergent dispenser securely to ensure it stays in place during the wash cycle.
- Close the dishwasher door and select the desired wash cycle and any additional options, if applicable.
- Start the dishwasher, and the powder will be released from the dispenser during the wash cycle to clean your dishes effectively.
