The other day, I found myself missing my Spirit Airlines flight just because of the terrible traffic and a long queue at the security check. Even though the situation was stressful, I learned a lot through the Spirit Airlines missed flight policy . The staff at the check-in counter explained Spirit's Same-Day Missed Flight policy which lets you book yourself on the earliest flight for just a $99 fee if you have checked in no later than two hours after your flight has departed. This was surely a relief as compared to the total loss of ticket fare. Luckily, the Spirit staff was cooperative and walked me through the rebooking procedure.
The whole situation was a little bit of a panic, but I still appreciate the very clear and quick nature of the process. Finally, I reached my destination a bit late but with an important lesson learn always be prepared, pick an early online check-in, and be quick if you miss your Spirit flight to save time and money.
