What GEOs perform best when you buy adult traffic?

I’ve been wondering about this for a while because GEO targeting seems to make or break campaigns, especially when you’re trying to buy adult traffic. At first, I thought it wouldn’t matter much as long as the volume was there, but that turned out to be a pretty naive assumption.

One of the biggest issues I ran into early was spending money on traffic that looked good on paper but didn’t convert at all. I tried going broad with Tier 1 countries like the US and UK, assuming higher spending power would automatically mean better results. What I noticed instead was higher costs and tougher competition. The clicks were there, but conversions were inconsistent, and ROI wasn’t great.

Then I shifted focus a bit and tested some Tier 2 and Tier 3 GEOs. Honestly, this is where things started to get interesting. Countries in Eastern Europe and parts of Latin America gave me way cheaper traffic, and surprisingly, engagement was decent. The conversions weren’t always huge, but the lower cost balanced it out. I also noticed that some Asian GEOs performed well depending on the niche and creatives I used.

Something else I learned is that it’s not just about the GEO itself but also how well your content matches the audience. I had one campaign that flopped in a Tier 1 country but did pretty well in a Tier 3 GEO just because the landing page felt more relevant to that audience.

If you’re still figuring things out, I’d suggest not locking yourself into one GEO too early. Test small, compare results, and see where your budget stretches the most. I found this breakdown on different regions pretty helpful when I was experimenting with strategies for how to naturally buy adult traffic and understand GEO performance.

Overall, my takeaway is that there’s no single “best” GEO. It really depends on your budget, your offer, and how patient you are with testing. Tier 1 can work if you have the budget and a strong funnel, but Tier 2 and Tier 3 can surprise you if you approach them right.

Curious if others have noticed similar patterns or if I just got lucky with certain regions.
