Understanding Call-Back Consent in Sales Discussions

Has anyone noticed how companies are asking for call-back consent now before calling prospects? Personally, I think it is a great move - getting explicit consent not only shows your respect for customer privacy, but it also helps to form a compliant calling strategy. It's also helped my follow up be more effective, and it has also eliminated bad surprises during calls. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen an uptick in lead quality since they started asking for call-back consent as part of their outreach process?
