SoftBank Corp. has unveiled Infrinia AI Cloud OS , a new software stack for AI data centers designed to streamline the deployment and management of complex GPU-based infrastructure. This innovative platform enables operators to manage modern AI workloads with greater efficiency and automation, helping them build services like Kubernetes-as-a-Service and Inference-as-a-Service within multi-tenant environments.

The Infrinia AI Cloud OS platform integrates diverse technologies into a unified environment that simplifies orchestration and maximizes the performance of high-performance GPU resources. It targets the operational complexities associated with deploying large-scale AI infrastructure from automated resource management to real-time monitoring allowing businesses to scale their AI projects without the heavy burden of complex infrastructure tasks.

SoftBank's new operating system supports features such as Kubernetes automation, inference-through-API capabilities, and secure multi-tenant operations, while optimizing GPU utilization on advanced hardware platforms like NVIDIA's GB200 NVL72. As part of its rollout strategy, SoftBank plans to first integrate Infrinia AI Cloud OS into its own global GPU cloud services, with plans to extend availability to overseas partners and cloud providers.

According to Junichi Miyakawa, President & CEO of SoftBank Corp., “Through Infrinia, SoftBank will play a central role in building the cloud foundation for the AI era,” highlighting the company's commitment to driving the future of AI infrastructure and digital innovation globally.
