Zilvinas Lesinskas, VP of Product at Omnisend, says these updates are built to let brands “connect with customers smarter” leverage AI to reduce manual effort and boost the impact of campaigns.
What's New: Personalization, Automation & Trust
Omnisend's enhancements fall into three core areas: content personalization, AI-driven assistants, and SMS improvements combined with stronger reporting.Personalization at Scale
The new Personalized Content suite (available to Pro users and as an add-on) includes:- Viewed Product Recommendations that surface recently browsed items in emails, nudging shoppers back into the funnel.
- Past Purchases Recommendations to suggest complementary products based on purchase history and behavior.
- Conditional Content Campaigns that dynamically hide or show blocks of content to deliver more relevant messaging within the same campaign.
Smarter Marketing via AI Assistants
Omnisend's latest AI assistants are designed to anticipate marketer needs and reduce friction:- Suggest + Create Automations (coming in Q4) will analyze existing automation gaps and generate workflows automatically complete with logic tuned to customer behavior and tone.
- Suggest + Create Forms (in beta) builds forms automatically based on calendar events, brand assets, and preferred messaging style, making it easier to expand subscriber lists.
Advanced SMS & Reporting Enhancements
With SMS still a key channel, Omnisend has upgraded controls to improve trust and performance:- SMS Shortlinks (custom branded domains) help boost recognition and click-through rates.
- SMS Shortcodes are on the horizon, enabling shorter numbers for high-volume campaigns that are easier to remember and type.
Why These Updates Matter
These enhancements reflect larger trends in Martech:- Efficiency & scale: Brands face pressure to do more with less. Automating workflows, content decisions, and channel integrations help marketers scale without burning out.
- Better customer experience: Personalized, timely content across channels (email + SMS) makes interactions feel more thoughtful and relevant.
- Bridging insight to execution: Stronger reporting means more informed decision making rather than guesswork. Marketers can monitor what works and iterate faster.
- Trust & deliverability: Adding controls like branded shortlinks shows Omnisend's commitment to maintaining deliverability and brand reputation in mobile channels.
