Kodiak Solutions has completed the acquisition of Besler & Company, LLC, enhancing its ability to offer expanded revenue integrity and reimbursement services for hospitals, health systems, and medical practices. The acquisition brings Besler's expertise and advanced tools into Kodiak's broader healthcare financial analytics and revenue cycle platform, helping clients improve revenue capture and streamline complex billing processes.
By integrating Besler's specialized revenue recovery technologies and services, Kodiak aims to provide a more unified solution that supports comprehensive net revenue reporting, analytics, benchmarking, and automation. Besler's Transfer Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) software and other reimbursement capabilities are expected to become part of Kodiak's platform, helping hospitals better detect underpayments and recover lost revenue without relying on fragmented point solutions.
Kodiak Solutions CEO Derek Bang said the acquisition furthers the company's mission of simplifying complex business challenges for healthcare leaders, enabling CFOs and revenue cycle teams to gain deeper insights and make informed decisions using a single data-driven ecosystem. Key Besler experts, including former CEO Jonathan Besler, have joined Kodiak, with Jonathan taking on a vice president role to support integration and ongoing innovation.
For four decades, Besler has been recognized for helping hospitals secure appropriate reimbursement through deep domain expertise and advanced software. Its addition to the Kodiak platform enhances Kodiak's ability to serve more than 2,300 hospitals and hundreds of thousands of physicians that rely on its solutions for revenue cycle performance and financial management.
