To migrate IMAP email to Office 365, the easiest way is to use a direct IMAP-to-Microsoft 365 migration method rather than downloading emails first and importing them manually. This reduces extra steps and makes it easier to keep the mailbox organized.

For a migration involving multiple accounts, an IMAP to Office 365 migration tool can connect the source IMAP mailbox with the Microsoft 365 account and transfer emails with attachments while retaining the folder structure. Tools such as WholeClear IMAP to Office 365 Converter also provide options for selective migration and mailbox transfer in bulk. It ensures full data safety during IMAP migration and works on all Windows operating systems without any compatibility issues.

Before moving the complete mailbox, I’d recommend testing one account first and checking the migrated folders, messages, and attachments. This helps catch account or folder-mapping issues before the full migration.
