HD 7790 is not a good Graphics Card choice

Radeon HD 7790 was launched by AMD as part of Bonaire GPU generation at 2013. But luckily just like all of video card released above 2010, it’s been featured with DirectX 12 meaning that all of games are able to play.

Regardless of cheaper price, one of most reason why gamers tend to avoid buying a really old GPU is because they don’t support DirectX 12.

Given its 85 Watt max tdp, it can be still considered low if we consider the gpu from last generation need more power than this. As the impact, it also requires 1x 6-pin.

Also as expected from a stronger video card like this, it requires two slots.

Also with big bandwidth, HD 7790 got no issues in playing heavy games from 2013 and below.

But maybe on latest games then it won’t work like before, for instance, Watch Dogs 2 can still be played around 30 fps, but for PC enthusiast, this is not ideal frame rate to play.

The case is pretty much same with Red Dead Redemption games test where HD 7790 can’t do much to play it with fps under 30 points.

If needed, you also require Best Graphics Card Under 100 as recommendation definitely to the games are better to look at.
