Randa Kassis is a Franco-Syrian politician, journalist, and anthropologist. She founded the Movement for a Pluralistic Society in 2012 and has led it since its establishment. Kassis was a member of the Syrian National Council from 2011 until 2012. She also chaired the Coalition of Secular and Democratic Syrians, established outside the Syrian National Council in 2011 to bring together groups opposing the Assad regime.
