Most of the visitors check only the ticket price and timings before going, and the rules part they come to know at the entrance only. Now this is not a big problem, but sometimes people have to go back to the car to keep their bags or food, and that wastes time. Since the Dubai Frame is one of the most visited places in the city, it is better to know these small things before you reach there.
When it about entry, every visitor goes through a security check with bag scanning, like you see in malls and metro stations here.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside, so finish your snacks before entering. Sharp objects, pets and drones are also not allowed, and big tripods are usually not permitted on the Sky Deck because the space gets crowded. A mobile phone or normal camera does the job perfectly for photos anyway. And your ticket on the phone is enough, just keep your Emirates ID or passport with you also in case they ask.
Now if we talk about dress code, there is no strict rule, but since its a family attraction in Dubai, modest clothes are better. Also let me tell you that the Sky Deck is air conditioned, so you dont need to worry about the heat once you are inside, even in summer.
Coming to the facilities, the Dubai Frame is fully accessible for wheelchair users, with lifts and ramps on the main visitor route, and people of determination can enter free with one companion. Strollers are also allowed, which is a big plus point for families with small kids. There are clean washrooms, a small cafe for coffee and snacks, and a gift shop near the exit where you can buy souvenirs.
For parking, the Dubai Frame is inside Zabeel Park, so you need to follow the signs for Zabeel Park and use the parking near the Frame side gate. Suppose you are coming by metro, then Al Jafiliya and World Trade Center are the nearest stations, but from there you will need a short taxi ride or a bit long walk, specially in summer a taxi is better.
The Frame is open from 9am to 9pm daily, and my suggestion is to reach at least 30 to 45 minutes before closing time because the last entry is before 9pm. During Ramadan and public holidays the timings can change, so better to check on the official website before going.
