ConnexPay, a unified payments platform that links customer PayIns with supplier PayOuts, has announced an expanded technology partnership with MIDOCO, a provider of mid- and back-office software for the travel industry. The collaboration connects ConnexPay's payment capabilities directly with MIDOCO's platform through an API integration, giving travel companies a way to handle both customer and supplier payments without leaving the tools they already use.
MIDOCO's platform automates the work that follows a booking, including order management, invoicing, payment reconciliation, supplier settlement, and accounting. By building ConnexPay into that workflow, travel businesses can accept customer payments and pay suppliers from one connected environment rather than juggling separate systems. This is designed to cut down on manual steps, reduce operational friction, and make cash flow easier to manage.
ConnexPay CEO Ben Peters said the company is excited to combine its payments expertise with MIDOCO's deep integration into travel operations, and described the goal as helping travel companies simplify complex payment flows while managing customer and supplier payments more efficiently.
The partnership plays to ConnexPay's core strength. Founded in 2017 by Bob Kaufman, the Texas-based company was built around travel agencies and online marketplaces, businesses that were long treated as high risk by traditional payment providers. Its platform brings payment acceptance and issuance together under a single contract, using virtual cards, ACH, and other payment methods to pay suppliers, with self-funding and integrated credit options that reduce the need for large cash reserves.
The announcement follows another recent product update from ConnexPay, which extended its virtual cards to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet so businesses can use them for tap-to-pay purchases in person. Together, these moves show the company widening both where its payments technology can be used and which software ecosystems it can plug into.
For travel companies already using MIDOCO, the integration offers a more connected route to managing the full payment cycle, from the moment a customer pays to the moment a supplier is settled.
