Anyone cracked consistent results with adult ads

I have been messing around with different setups for a while now, and I keep coming back to the same question about Adult Ads. Why do they work great one week and then suddenly feel dead the next. If you have ever felt that swing, you are not alone. I see people on forums talking about big wins, but rarely about how they keep things steady.

The biggest pain point for me was inconsistency. I would launch a campaign, see clicks coming in, maybe even a few decent conversions, and then everything would slow down. It made me wonder if adult ads are just random by nature or if I was missing something obvious. I kept tweaking things without really knowing what I was fixing.

After a lot of trial and error, I started paying closer attention to who I was actually targeting and how my message looked to them. I noticed that when I tried to speak to everyone, I ended up connecting with no one. Broad targeting sounded good in theory, but in practice it drained my budget fast. When I narrowed things down and matched the tone of the ad with the mindset of the audience, the performance felt more stable.

Another thing I learned is that patience matters more than I expected. I used to kill ads too quickly if they did not pop right away. Letting them run long enough to gather real data helped me see patterns instead of reacting to noise. Some creatives that looked average at first actually became my most reliable ones.

What helped me most was keeping things simple and consistent. Same core idea, clear intent, and small changes instead of constant overhauls. Adult ads seem to reward calm testing over constant panic moves. I am still learning, but this shift alone made results feel less like a gamble and more like a process.
