Why does Tadasoft 20 Mg cause facial flushing?

Tadasoft 20 mg, which contains tadalafil, can cause facial flushing due to its vasodilatory effects. Tadasoft 20mg works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), leading to increased levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). This chemical causes smooth muscles in blood vessel walls to relax, particularly in the pelvic region to enhance blood flow for an erection.

However, this effect is not limited to the genital area—blood vessels in the face and upper body also dilate, increasing blood flow to the skin’s surface, which results in visible redness or warmth known as flushing. While typically harmless, facial flushing can be more noticeable in some individuals and may be intensified by alcohol, hot environments, or physical activity. It usually resolves as the drug wears off. If flushing is accompanied by other symptoms like dizziness or low blood pressure, medical advice should be sought to rule out a stronger systemic reaction.
