I have severe pain on the right side, just above my butt, around my right pelvic area, and on the back of my right thigh. When I go to sleep the pain worsens and disturbs my sleep. When I sit down, the pain sets after an hour of sitting, making long-distance travel a Sciatiease nightmare. Walking relieves my pain every time, unless it's a very severe episode. My pain started after a serious cycling accident when I was wearing cycling shoes and caught the pedals. The force of the accident (from a 20 mph impact with a 2 foot high concrete carrying wall) attempted to tear off my right leg and I had partial paralysis and numbness in my right leg for a week. When I regained full use of my leg and felt it again, the pain began around my right pelvic bone and in the back of my right thigh.
You may or may not have sciatica. A neurologist performed extensive CT scans and MRIs of my lower back and right pelvis, but saw nothing (which happens in about 1/3 of low back pain and sciatica cases). Anyway, he diagnosed me with sciatica, Sciatiease Reviews which he said he caused. due to damage to the nerve root on the right side between some of my lumbar vertebrae. Another doctor, a joint pain specialist, redid all the images, saw nothing again, and thought I had a hypermobile right sacroiliac joint (where my right pelvis attaches to the sacrum or tailbone).
A pain specialist later thought, but he wasn't entirely sure that he had an SI joint problem rather than a lumbar spine problem. He recommends SI joint fusion surgery, but all my physical therapists urged me NOT to have this surgery because their patients who had this surgery ended up worse with L5-S1 or hip joint problems (both joints adjacent to the SI). joint.) I refused surgery. So I don't know if I have sciatica or not. If my pain is from sciatica, my first bottle of this product did not help. If my pain is coming from a hypermobile right SI joint, then this product is not expected to help me much. On the other hand, SI joint pain and sciatica produce phantom pain in one leg, so perhaps what helps one should also help the other. In any case, what has worked best for me is physical therapy, weight maintenance, staying physically active, and prescription medications, 150 mg of tracing and 5 mg of hydrocodone per night, to help me sleep through the pain.
