Last year, my Spirit flight was delayed for over 4 hours, and honestly, I had no idea about their policy. Later I found out that passengers can be eligible for Spirit flight delay compensation if the cancellation occurs or if the delay is over three hours. In my instance, a travel voucher that at least paid for my next trip was given to me. The lesson is to always keep your documents on hand and to contact Spirit as soon as there are any delays.
