Best Ideas: Six of Our Favorite replica MB & F watches

ur Glass’s newly opened MB&F laboratory, which currently displays all 20 MB&F movements produced over the past 17 years, we are amazed by the talent of Max and his team. Even though we've been exposed to many of MB&F's watches, seeing all 20 of them in one location was mind-boggling, to say the least. It also reminded the author of his first exposure to the world of independent watchmaking many years ago, with the esoteric Horological Machine 3.

We thought there was no better way to honor Max and MB&F on this special milestone than by showcasing some of our favorite watches from the brand. Let’s be honest, though, shrinking it down to just six pieces wasn’t the easiest task…

MB&F Clock Machine 3
Launched in 2009, this quirky watch features two domes to indicate the hours and minutes. There are several versions of HM3, of which the "Frog" - which has two reconstructed domes resembling amphibian eyes - is probably the most famous of them all. This best replica watches is specifically based on Girard-Perregaux, with an engine designed for the brand by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht.

The HM3 certainly has something unique about it and is without a doubt one of the most iconic timepieces from MB&F. We think the success of the series really speaks for itself.

MB&F Legacy Machine 101
Based on the Legacy Machine 1 and 2, the LM101 is a more understated version of its counterpart, with a smaller case (40mm instead of 44mm) and a less complex movement. However, that doesn’t mean the LM101 is a poor watch. The watch is powered by an in-house developed movement, finished to specification and aesthetically designed by master watchmaker Kari Voutilainen. The front and back of the LM101 are truly stunning sights.

Although it is an entry-level watch, the LM101 has all the characteristics of an excellent watch. A movement with outstanding design, outstanding attention to detail and a finishing technique that is to die for. What else do you really want?

MB&F Clock Machines 5
The HM5 “On the Road Again” is a fascinating piece that blends inspiration from the 1970s and the future to create a rather unique timepiece. high quality watches replica

There are various inspirations behind the HM5, most notably the famous Lamborghini Miura, Girard-Perregaux’s “Cassette” watch and the silhouette of the Amida Digitrend. The result is a modern timepiece with an unusual vertical digital time display. To achieve this, a wedge-shaped sapphire prism is used to refract and magnify the disk at the desired angle. There's also a lever on the top of the case for opening and closing the shutter, allowing light to enter and charge the luminescent material on the disc.

While it may not be MB&F’s most technically complex watch, the HM5 has a certain charm. Design and conceptualization are also MB&F’s strengths, and this watch certainly reflects that.

MB&F old machines forever
First unveiled in 2015, the LM Perpetual was MB&F’s first timepiece to feature a perpetual calendar complication. But like MB&F, there's more than meets the eye here.Replica Franck Muller Watches

MB&F’s interpretation of the perpetual calendar complication is more than just a beautiful appearance. This watch uses the Perpetual complication system redesigned by Stephen McDonnell, completely omitting the traditional Grand Levi watch. This allows the balance wheel to be placed on the dial side (a hallmark of the LM series) and ensures that the mechanical date changes instantly and stuck gears are a thing of the past.

This watch paved the way for more complex watches in the LM collection, such as the latest LM Sequential, which features one of the most complex timing systems. But before we go any further, we certainly have to admit that the LM Perpetual is a stunning piece of work and ticks all the boxes.

MB&F Clock Machines 9
Taking inspiration from classic cars and aircraft (most notably the Mercedes-Benz W196 racing car and the sleek de Havilland Venom aircraft), the HM9 is a gorgeous watch with flowing lines. Appearances aside, the watch is also equipped with a movement that contains two completely independent balance wheels with planetary differentials, as well as a vertical chronograph display.

There is almost nothing in the world of horology that can compare to the HM9. This sexy and provocative watch is in a league of its own, combining an unconventional (yet beautiful) design with the working principles of haute horlogerie. Even by MB&F’s high standards, the HM9 is a truly stunning timepiece.Replica Jacob & Co. watches

MB&F Traditional Machine Sequence EVO
able. Here we have two independent chronographs that can be operated independently or simultaneously via the "Twinverter" mechanism. In fact, the "Twinverter" can also stop one chronograph and start another chronograph at the same time. Talk about mechanical ingenuity.

We've always been fans of Max and his partners' work. LM Sequential EVO is living proof of the incredible minds behind the brand and its production capabilities. This watch certainly cements MB&F’s position as a leading independent watchmaking brand, if they weren’t already established.

concluding thoughts
Where do we start? Many superlatives have been used to describe the work of Max and his friends, but words are insufficient to do justice to these masterpieces. It’s difficult to describe the emotional experience one has when encountering an MB&F piece, and frankly, we strongly recommend that you at least indulge in the opportunity if you have the chance (such as the ongoing exhibition at MB&F Lab, in Singapore) ).

There’s something about MB&F watches that attracts us. Maybe it’s the unconventional nature of the design, or the boldness of the concept. These are all things we admire, but to bring it to life in such a special way is really something completely different. Very few people can do that, and Max is one of the few incredible talents this industry is very lucky to have. To some extent, the world of horology would probably be very different without Max and his partners (as well as some other extraordinary luminaries, a topic we will save for another occasion).

Twenty movements were produced over a period of 17 years, an incredible feat. But knowing Max, this is just the tip of the iceberg. We are very excited to see what the future holds for MB&F. replica watches for men
