Just moved here a few months ago and I'm trying to get my head around car upkeep. Where I'm from, the main worries were road salt in winter and general moisture. Here it feels completely different with the heat and the sand. My battery died without warning last week and the guy at the garage said it's common here because of the heat, which I never even thought about. Now I'm paranoid about what else I'm missing.
