Cenforce 120 contains sildenafil citrate, which is a PDE5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It works by blocking the action of the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which is responsible for breaking down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). During sexual stimulation, nitric oxide is released in the penis, which increases cGMP levels.
