Has anyone actually tried adult push ads for offers?

I've been seeing people mentioning Adult Push Advertising in different threads, and honestly, I wasn't sure if it was something regular affiliates actually use or if it was just another trend that sounds better than it works. I figured I'd share my experience and see if it lines up with what others have seen.

My main issue at the start was confusion. Adult offers already feel tricky, and push ads sound a bit risky to me. I kept wondering things like: Do users even click these? Are they just angry by notifications? And how do you promote adult stuff without getting banned or wasting money? I didn't have clear answers, and most guides online felt too polished to be real.

So I tested things slowly. I didn't jump in with a big budget. What I noticed pretty fast is that push traffic behaves differently from search or social. People aren't “looking” for something. You're kind of popping up in their day. That means your message has to be super clear and not try too hard. When I used aggressive wording, clicks went up but conversions dropped. When I kept things simple and honest, results were better.

Another thing I learned the hard way is targeting. Broad targeted my budget fast. Once I narrowed things down and paid attention to timing and device types, the traffic felt more relevant. Not perfect, but better. Also, tracking is important, even if you keep it basic. Without it, you're just guessing.

What helped me most was reading real experiences and comparing networks instead of trusting one opinion. Adult push ads aren't magic, but they can work if you treat them like a test, not a shortcut. I'm still learning, but I no longer see them as a waste by default. Curious if others had similar results or totally different ones.
