Believe it or not, Fortnite released exactly five years ago today, on July 21, 2017. While the game has made considerable progress in the half-decade since its release, designer Epic Games ensures its constant advancement by rolling out regular substance updates. While some updates may be smaller than others, this one is particularly huge. Fortnite's No Sweat Summer update adds multiple quest lines, cosmetic rewards, and more.

The free-to-play battle royale title actually just released a numbered update a couple of days ago. Fortnite's update v21.30 added the Prime Shotgun, an all-new weapon which deals 50% extra damage on the first shot of the four-round clip. The update also unlocks Super Level styles for all of the Fortnite original characters that are part of Chapter 3 Season 3's Battle Pass.

Despite already releasing new satisfied earlier this week, Fortnite is rolling out its No Sweat Summer update, which adds considerably more happy than the earlier one. Running from July 21 at 9 AM ET to August 9, 2022, at 9 AM ET, players become part of No Sweat Insurance's street team, giving them three sets of No Sweat quests: Sponsorship, Marketing, and Product Recall. Each quest line offers various versions of the Ice-Blasted Snow Crunchem Back Bling (essentially a slushie) and involve dancing and boats. Completing seven unlocks a new lightweight flyer, while 14 earns players the sign-spinning Sweaty Rotation Emote.

No Sweat quests aren't the main new quests arriving to Fortnite as part of the update. After the fan-favorite Tilted Towers location was destroyed (again) during last season, Fortnite tasked players with submitting their own designs as part of the Rebuild the Block Event, which includes Rebuild the Block Quests. By donating bars to their favorite player-made remake, surviving storm phases and getting eliminations during the occasion, players will get rewards including XP, a Contrail, Pickaxe, and Back Bling.

In addition to the bevy of various quests, Fortnite's No Sweat Summer update adds several new summer outfits for some of its original characters. New skins include Slayer Charlotte, Undercover Kor, and Swimming Pro Medley. The update also includes a skin for Chapter 2 Season 6 boss Raz, giving him a more aquatic look while maintaining his glowing Glyph Master eyes. Unfortunately apparently these outfits cannot be earned via in-game quests, and must be purchased from the thing shop.

Even however the latest update has just released, another one may already soon be coming. Details about Fortnite's collab with Dragon Ball Z have begun leaking, with Goku, Vegeta, and Beerus all yet affirmed to be coming to the island.
