Bureau Veritas Americas EVP Santiago Arias Duval has been appointed Executive Vice-President for the Americas region , effective November 17, 2025, in alignment with the company's revamped operating model introduced earlier this year.
Strategic Realignment Under New Regional Leadership
Under its new structure effective since September 1, 2025 Bureau Veritas has reorganized its executive committee to grant regions greater autonomy and capacity for scalable product-line deployment. The creation of a dedicated Americas region seeks to capitalize on high-growth opportunities spanning North, Central, and South America while enabling stronger cross-selling across its global services.In his new role, Arias Duval will report directly to CEO Hinda Gharbi and join the Group Executive Committee.
Leadership Profile: Proven Industrial Experience
Santiago Arias Duval brings a rich industrial background to the role. Before joining Bureau Veritas, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Precision Technologies at Ingersoll Rand, where he led a variety of divisions including Industrial Pumps, Medical, Vacuum & Liquid Handling, and Life Sciences. During his tenure there, he delivered strong organic growth, managed acquisitions, and expanded EBITDA through operational excellence.Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Danaher Corporation (Packaging Business Unit, X-Rite) and worked at Fluke (Danaher) and General Motors. He holds an MBA from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
