In the ancient text Yoga Sutra of Patanjali , the very first sutra begins with the profound phrase atha yoga anushasanam , which translates to “Now, the discipline of yoga begins.” This opening is not just a chronological marker but a spiritual invitation—signifying readiness, commitment, and the willingness to embark on the transformative journey of self-discovery.
