Are there any drugs or substances that interact with Super P Force?

Super P Force is a medication that combines two active ingredients: sildenafil (commonly used in Viagra) and dapoxetine (used for premature ejaculation). Both components can interact with other substances in various ways.

Drug Interactions:

  1. Nitrates: Taking Super P Force with nitrates (used for chest pain) can cause a significant drop in blood pressure, leading to dizziness or fainting. Nitrates include medications like nitroglycerin and isosorbide dinitrate.
  2. Alpha-blockers: These are used for high blood pressure or prostate issues. Combining them with Super P Force can also lead to low blood pressure. Examples include doxazosin and terazosin.
  3. Other Erectile Dysfunction Medications: Using other PDE5 inhibitors (like tadalafil or vardenafil) with Super P Force is not recommended due to the risk of side effects and overdose.
  4. Antifungal Medications: Certain antifungals, such as ketoconazole or itraconazole, can increase sildenafil levels in the blood, potentially increasing the risk of side effects.
  5. Antibiotics: Some antibiotics, like erythromycin, can also raise sildenafil levels and increase side effects.
  6. Antidepressants: Since dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), combining it with other SSRIs or medications that affect serotonin levels can increase the risk of serotonin syndrome, a potentially serious condition.
  7. Alcohol: While not a drug interaction per se, alcohol can enhance the side effects of Super P Force, such as dizziness or headaches, and may impair sexual performance.
Always consult with a healthcare provider before combining Super P Force with any other medication or substance to avoid potential interactions and side effects.
