Anyone figuring out ads for adult products lately

I've been trying to get better results with Ads for Adult Products lately, and honestly, it feels a bit confusing in 2026. Things seem stricter, more competitive, and somehow more unpredictable than before. I'm curious if others are dealing with the same thing or if I'm just missing something basic.

One big issue I ran into was burning budget too fast without seeing real conversions. Clicks were coming in, but they didn't really turn into anything meaningful. It made me wonder if the problem was my targeting, the creations, or even the platforms I was using. Also, compliance rules seem tighter now, which adds another layer of trial and error.

What I started doing differently was focusing less on pushing hard sales and more on testing small variations. I tried changing angles in creatives, like going softer instead of direct, and that surprisingly helped with engagement. I also noticed that narrowing down the audience instead of going broad saved me money in the long run. It's slower, but at least it feels more controlled.

Another thing that worked for me was paying attention to timing and placements. Some ad slots just didn't perform at all, while others did better with the same setup. It took patience, but tracking those small details made a difference over time.

I'm still figuring things out, but it seems like being flexible and not expecting quick wins is key here. Curious if anyone else has found a pattern that works consistently, or is everyone just testing nonstop like me?
