The Trade Desk has appointed Tahnil Davis as Interim Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its finance leadership while launching a search for a permanent successor. Davis, who has served as the company’s Chief Accounting Officer for nearly 11 years, will report to CEO Jeff Green and help guide financial operations during this transitional period.
Davis steps into the interim CFO role following the departure of former CFO Alex Kayyal, whose tenure was brief. Her deep institutional knowledge and long history with The Trade Desk aim to provide continuity as the company refines its financial strategy and prepares to publish its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results.
As Interim CFO, Davis is expected to oversee key financial functions, including reporting, compliance, and operational infrastructure. Her leadership experience within the company particularly in building financial systems and governance frameworks positions her to support strategic planning and execution throughout the fiscal transition.
The Trade Desk has reaffirmed its guidance for the fourth quarter of 2025, forecasting revenue of at least $840 million and adjusted EBITDA of approximately $375 million. The company plans to release detailed financial results on February 25, 2026, followed by a webcast and conference call for investors and analysts.
CEO Jeff Green emphasised Davis’s strong track record and ability to lead during this period of change, highlighting her strategic insight and operational experience as critical assets for maintaining momentum. Meanwhile, The Trade Desk continues to operate its self-service advertising platform, serving clients across programmatic digital advertising channels globally.
The interim CFO appointment comes at a moment of heightened market focus on leadership stability, with recent executive turnover drawing significant attention from investors and analysts. Maintaining consistent financial guidance while navigating executive shifts will be key for The Trade Desk as it moves forward.
